With over 15 years of experience in the training service industry, Allyson Pippin-Lamont brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to instructing and training. During those years, Allyson has worked in every capacity, from Information Technology support, network administration and management, project management, trainer, and adjunct instructor. Allyson also has over 5 years of entrepreneur experience as a franchise owner of a restaurant, and business owner of multiple investment properties. As a native of the Washington Metropolitan Area, Allyson has enjoyed working as an IT consultant for various government contracting firms such as Booz Allen Hamilton and SAIC. Most notably Allyson contributed to the Information Technology Agency, located at the Pentagon, in achieving its ISO 9001 Certification. Her consulting experience has also supported many agencies in areas such as business process re-engineering, gap analysis, process improvement, incident management, and change management projects. Some of her other past professional experience as an IT Trainer have included providing education and training for companies such as Microsoft, UBS, Verizon Business, Maryville Technologies, University of Phoenix, University of the District of Columbia, College of Southern Maryland, Cisco, Bureau of Public Department, SRA International, Deloitte & Touch, MITRE, ING, and Securities & Exchange Commission. Allyson has also spent many years preparing to become an expert ITIL facilitator. She is presently Practitioner Certified in Information Technology Infrastructure Library® v3. Operational Support & Analysis (OSA), Service Operation (SOA), & Intermediate V2 Support & Restore. Allyson earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Averett University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson University. Allyson holds a Public Trust Security Clearance.
